Privacy Policy

ABlue Reviews ("we", "us", "the app") is a tool built by ABlue Design, operated by 1001319531 Ontario Inc., based in Ontario, Canada, that helps business owners manage and respond to customer reviews left on their Google Business Profile. This policy explains what information we access, why we access it, how it's stored, and who it's shared with.

When you connect your Google account, we access data made available through the Google Business Profile API for the locations you authorize. This includes:

• The reviewer's name and profile photo, as shown publicly on Google.
• The text and star rating of each review.
• Any photos the reviewer attached to their review.
• Any reply already posted on Google for a review, including replies posted before you connected this app.

We also store basic account information from your Google sign-in (name, email address, and profile picture) so we can identify you within the app.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we store your subscription status and Stripe customer reference. We never receive or store your card details; Stripe handles them directly.

This information is used solely to operate the core functionality of the app: showing you your business's reviews in one place, generating AI-suggested reply drafts, and allowing you (or, if you enable Auto-reply, the app on your behalf) to post replies back to Google.

Review data, reply drafts, and related account information are securely stored in a PostgreSQL database operated on your behalf. Access to this database is restricted to the systems that run the app. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties beyond what is described in this policy.

We access your Google Business Profile through Google's official APIs with your permission. We store, encrypted, the access tokens Google issues to us so the app can keep working on your behalf, and you can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account settings. To generate AI-suggested reply drafts, the text of a review and the AI Instructions you've configured for your business, along with a few of your past review-and-reply pairs used as style examples, are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. To match new drafts to your reply style, the text of reviews and replies is also sent to Voyage AI, which converts it into numerical representations (embeddings) that we store and use to find your most relevant past replies. Notification and approval emails are sent through Resend. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are handled directly by Stripe. This site and the app are served through Cloudflare, which provides DNS, email routing, and bot protection, including verifying you're human when you submit our contact form. Each provider's own privacy practices govern how they handle data while processing it on our behalf. We do not use this sharing for any purpose beyond what this policy describes. Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States, and that data may be subject to the laws of those countries.

ABlue Reviews' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect your Google account, we receive OAuth access and refresh tokens that allow the app to read your Business Profile reviews and post replies to Google on your behalf. These tokens are stored securely and are used solely for that purpose — they are never used to access any other Google service or data beyond what's described in this policy.

You can revoke this app's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops the app from reading new reviews or posting replies on your behalf. You may also contact us to request deletion of your stored data.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised.
